  • a book summary for its Book Recommendations Section

For your Monographic Issue Proposal

Proposals should include:

  • Some details of the proposed guest editors (no more than 2): first and last name, Institution, mail address;
  • the title of the Monographic issue;
  • a draft introduction;
  • titles and abstracts of all proposed articles: no less than 5 and no more than 9, by total number of words from a minimum of 54000 to a maximum of 64000;
  • the monographic issue includes an introduction: maximum 5000 words;
  • some details of contributors: first and last name, Institution, email address.

Monographic issue can contain papers in different languages but every paper will be unpublished and written in one of the following languages: English, French, Italian or Spanish. Each Author should respect the Author’s Guidelines available for the chosen language and above exposed.

Once De Europa Editors accept the proposal, the guest editors should respect the deadlines proposed by the Editorial Board of the Journal.

All papers will be submitted to blind-double peer review before final publication


For your Article Proposal

Articles will be submitted to blind-double peer review before publication.

Editors could decide the section where the paper will be published.
Hereafter some indications for the authors. Please see this attachment for all formatting indications.

 

  • Article should be unpublished and original, of about around 5.000-8.000 words, including notes and references;
  •  Article should be followed by an abstract about 200-300 words with 5-6 keywords,  sent in a different file, in English and in the article language
  • Articles should be written to facilitate anonymous refereeing (i.e. avoiding 'as I have argued previously'; 'drawing on my recent work', etc.)
  • Notes should be placed at the end of the page, should be numbered consecutively, and should not solely comprise references
  • Headings (1) and subheadings (1.1) should be brief and clear; bold type is used only for headings; an eventual introduction should be different from the sent abstract
  • For quotation up to 25 words:  add the quotation between quotation marks: “quoted text”, use italics for the quotation in a different language from the paper language (“quoted tetx in foreing language”)
  • For quotation with more than 25 words: do not use quotation marks but insert a new paragraph
  • Use italics for foreing words and not to emphasize
  • Figures, tables and graphs should have short, descriptive titles, and their position in the text be clearly indicated
  • References:  please insert sources directly in the text as following: (Wodak 2015: 23)
  • References have a titled section at the and of the article;  authors are listed in alphabetical order and in the following way

For your Book or Books Review proposal

Proposal should contain:

  • Contact details: first and last name, Institution, mail address
  • the complete reference of the Book (Author-s; title; Publication date, Publisher, number of pages);
     

Once De Europa Editors accept the proposal, please send your Book Review of about 900-1.200 words, references included following Author’s Guidelines available for papers.
The Book Report will be evaluated before the final publication.


For your Book or Books Recommendations proposal

Proposal should contain:

  • Contact details: first and last name, Institution, email address;
  • the complete reference of the Book (Author/s; title; Publication date, Publisher, number of pages);

Once De Europa Editors accept the proposal, you can send the Book Recommendations of about 600-800 words, following Author’s Guidelines available for papers.

The Book Recommendation will be evaluated before the final publication.
